The schools where YES provides its trainings contribute a small fee, but their budgets are very limited. Every young person pays a small contribution for the training. These contributions are important, but of course not sufficient. When we calculate it properly, the total cost for a full empowerment training and coaching program per student is about €340 per year. Which is actually a small amount when you consider that it greatly increases their chances of success in education and society. If you would like to support us, we are deeply grateful.

THE YES-NL FOUNDATION
Our projects are carried out by YES (Youth Empowerment Suriname) in Suriname and financially supported by the YES-NL Foundation in the Netherlands. YES-NL is committed to making our programs possible through donations and fundraising, while YES in Suriname is responsible for the implementation of the training programs and activities on location.

Our project year runs in line with the Surinamese school year, from October 1st to September 30th.
